Kepier Summer Show 2015

Over the first three nights of the final week of our summer term around 80 of our learners perform and support our annual summer show, this year entitled 'All Shook Up', with a storyline based on the songs of Elvis Presley.

As well as the learners involved on stage performing, there are around another 20 who help out assembling the sets, moving these on and off stage during the performances, as well as the staff who give up their time not just to rehearse and produce the show, but also paint the sets, help supervise on the evening, act as prompter for those moments when lines are forgotten (not often but it does happen!) and sell drinks and snacks on the night, including our newly formed Parents, Teachers and Friends Association, so it really does involve not just the whole school but the community as well.

The show is performed over two hours in front of around 200 parents/carers and families on each of the three nights, and whilst some of the cast have performed in these shows before, for many it was the first time they had performed on stage and to say they excelled themselves would be something of an understatement.
