Friday 8th March marks the end of another successful Literature Festival at Kepier. This is our 4th ‘Lit Fest’ and we are hoping that 'Lit fest 2014' will be bigger and better than ever! This year activities have included:
- Workshops by the author and poet Terry Caffrey who worked with learners in Years 7 and 8.
- Art Heroes-Graphic novel workshop where learners in years 7, 8 and 9 looked at the creation of comics and characterisation.
- We had ‘The Big Read’ to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 7th March and the English department dressed up as characters from Alice in Wonderland.
- We also ran a book review competition where prizes are still available for all those who enter!
Don’t forget entries for the book review competition are open until Friday 22nd March. You can enter on Moodle or by handing your book review to your English teacher.
