Kepier Christmas Concert

As always, in the last week of our Christmas term Kepier hosted a free concert for the community, with carols and Christmas songs performed by both our school orchestra and choir.

In front of an audience of around 200 people, including specially invited guests from a local nursing home, the hour long concert was enjoyed by all, and is a much valued annual event. Both the learners and our music teachers, Mr Hall and Mrs Jiggins, give up an awful lot of their spare time to rehearse for the event, supported by our peripatetic music teachers and even ex-Kepier pupils who come back to help out.

Mr Hall, Head of Music at Kepier, said "as always, it was a wonderful night and a lovely way to allow our young people to perform in front of a live audience. For many of them, it was the first time they had done this, and they should be very proud of the excellent performances they gave."
