Kepier Summer Show 2016
Kepier held its annual summer show over two nights in the last week of the 2015/16 school year. With around 80 learners taking part or involved in the show, it is much loved by all those attending, around 200 on each night. This years show was 'Joseph's Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat', and the performances by all on stage were as amazing as the title!
Kepier Prom 2016
Kepier held its prom for 2016 at The Beamish Hall Hotel on July 14th. It was a wonderful night, enjoyed immensely by both staff and learners. Many thanks to all those who made the night possible.

Ben's bungee jump for The Meningitis Research Foundation
One of our Year 11 learners, Ben, recently did a charity bungee jump from The Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough to raise money for The Meningitis Research Foundation.
Ben's great uncle, Ken, has been an ambassador for the charity for many years. His son Glenn sadly dies after contracting meningitis aged just 16 in 1997.
Ben had been bought the bungee jump as a present for his 16th birthday, and decided that rather than just doing the jump he would try and raise as much money as possible for the charity. He gained sponsorship from friends and family, as well as staff and learners at Kepier, and managed to raise the fantastic amount of £1126.25. Ben said "although I have a fear of heights I decided that I wanted to raise money for Meningitis research, and really enjoyed doing the jump - although I didn't enjoy standing at the top waiting!"
Principal Nicky Cooper said "we are all very proud of Ben and the fantastic effort he has made to raise so much money for such a worthwhile cause."
